Training on Service Delivery Funded by Helvetas
5 days training on Service Delivery was completed on November 24th, 2019, 20 Tshogpas from different gewogs attended the training program. The training program was funded by HELVETAS in collaboration with Department of Local Governance. Some of the areas for better Service Delivery highlighted by the participants were as follows-
- Encourage more entrepreneurial projects with the available resources at the community level
- Transparency of service delivery could help prevent corruption
- An audit mechanism could be established to evaluate government performance
- Cooperation with local women’s NGOs could help build capacity among women and motivate them to voice their interests
